A department of Oxford County, Human Services provides financial assistance, child care subsidies, and shelter to eligible people living in Oxford. Human Services takes an integrated approach to helping clients. The team’s focus is one client, one file, one caseworker. Human Services considers seven key factors when helping a client: income, education, health, transportation, employment, safety/legal, and shelter. Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centre Community Needs Assessment and Initial Plan. The Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centre Community Needs Assessment and Initial Plan summarizes the community needs assessment that was undertaken in September 2017 as part of the provincial government’s Ontario Early Years Child and Family Centres plan. In Oxford County, this work engaged a wide range of stakeholders and community partners, with the final report helping to drive forward the community’s work in transforming early years programs beginning in 2018. |
