Tuesday, March 17 - 4-5pm | Ages 3-12 | Registration Required
Dig Into a Sweet Treat: Join us for a story about the wonders of worms and soil followed by an educational activity making soil (pudding) cups together topped with some wiggly gummy worms!
Thursday, March 19 - 12-1pm | Ages 6-12 | Registration Required
Dig Into Archaeology: Join us for a short story about archaeology followed by a sculpting activity- we will make dinosaur fossils and mini pinch pots!
Saturday, March 21 - 11am-12pm | All Ages | Registration Required
Dig Into Planting: Join us to paint a flower pot and use some soil to plant a seed in your flower pot!
Burgessville Branch
Tuesday, March 17 - 3:30-4:30pm | Ages 6+ | Drop-In
Pot of Gold Paint: Join us to create a pot of gold dot painting. Younger children will need adult helper, please wear clothing for painting and crafting.

Lego Friday: Drop in during open hours for Lego Friday, what will you build? Can you dig it, build dinosaurs or flowers or be a creative as your heart desires.

Wednesday, March 18 - 4-5:30pm | Ages 4-12 | Registration Required
Seed Planting: Decorate a pot, dig into the dirt, and plant some seeds. Take your decorated, planted pot home to watch the plants grow. Younger children requiring parental assistance.
Harrington Branch
Tuesday, March 17 - 11am-12pm | Ages 6+ | Registration Required
Sending Secret Messages: Join the Dig In Detectives and learn how to create a Secret Message and prepare for the Secret Mission.
Wednesday, March 18 - 5-6pm | Ages 6+ | Registration Required
Cracking Secret Codes: As a Dig In Dectective you will need to learn how to crack and send Secret Codes. Come learn the tricks of the trade!
Friday, March 20 - 11am-12pm | Ages 6+ | Registration Required
Solving a Secret Mystery: The Dig In Detectives will use the skills they’ve learned to solve the Secret Mission—the Mystery of Missing Ollie the Ox!
Ingersoll Branch
Ingersoll Library’s March Break programming is generously funded in part by the Kiwanis Club of Ingersoll.
All programs are intended for ages 12 and under unless otherwise stated. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult for programs. Children 10 and under cannot be left in the library unsupervised.
All programs are drop-in, available while supplies last, and capacity allows.
Monday, March 16
- 10am - Ventriloquist Yvette Locke & her Puppet Friends: Join Canada’s premiere female ventriloquist, Yvette Locke, and her puppet friends for a super silly show!
- 1-3pm - Dinosaur Silhouette Painting: Drop in to create your own prehistoric painting.
Tuesday, March 17
- 10am-12pm - Pot of Gold Party: Drop by to play big games, make a craft, and enjoy a scavenger hunt with a prize at the end of the rainbow!

1-3pm - St. Patrick’s Perler Bead Magnets: Drop in to make a St. Patrick’s shaped magnet out of melting Perler beads.
Wednesday, March 18
- 10am - Reptile Show with Reptilia London: Join Reptilia for a meet and greet with some reptile friends!
- 1-3pm - Seed Planting: You will decorate your own flowerpot and plant a seed to see what grows.
- 4:30pm & 6pm - Teen Escape Game | Grades 7-12 | Registration Required: Can you and your team solve your way through the clues and make it to the top of the leader board in a video game-themed escape room? Spaces are limited. Please only register for one timeslot.
Thursday, March 19
- 10am-12pm - Model Magic Fossils: Using Crayola Model Magic, you will create your own dinosaur fossil.
- 1pm OR 2pm - Cartooning with Mr. AJ (Ages 6+): Local author and artist, Mr. AJ, guides us through a 1-hour prehistoric cartooning class.
Friday, March 20
- 10am-12pm - Mini Dinosaur Terrariums: Drop by to create your own mini terrarium habitat for a dinosaur!
- 1pm - A Minecraft Movie: Movie rated PG, 101 minute run time.

- 1:30-3:30pm - Paws for Stories (Registration Required): Children can read to trained therapy dogs to boost their early literacy skills and reading confidence. Children will have a 15-minute time slot with a therapy dog. Please indicate which time slot you would prefer upon registration (Ages 5-12).
