Online Magazines
Libby: You can find 3000+ eMagazines on Libby including The Economist, The New Yorker, HGTV Magazine, National Geographic and so much more! Magazines can be downloaded on your smart phone or tablet directly using the Libby app. Magazines are always available and are not included in your 10 title borrow limit.
Press Reader: Access daily newspapers and magazines in Press Reader. All-you-can-read digital newsstand with thousands of the world's most popular newspapers and magazines. To get started click, "Library or Group", search Oxford County Library and follow the registration process.

Ancestry Library Edition: Discover your family history and access billions of genealogical records including census, vital, military and immigration documents. Ancestry can be accessed while visiting one of our 14 branches. Ancestry Library Edition is not accessible from home.

Research Databases
Canadian Reference Centre - the largest collection of regional full-text content available to Canadian schools and libraries. The database includes leading Canadian and international magazines, plus thousands of images from Canadian Press.
MasterFILE Premier - contains full text for general reference magazines and publications covering a wide range of subject areas including business, health, education, general science and multicultural issues. It also includes 55,000 full-text primary source documents and more than 2 million photos, maps and flags.
MasterFILE Reference eBook Collection - a rich selection of titles covering a broad range of general reference subjects, including biography, history, architecture, literature, cooking, health and wellness, science, self-help, religion, current events, sports, travel and more.
For Kids
Brainfuse HelpNow: Online homework help for students in grades K-12 offered daily from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Also includes practice tests, support for adult learners, writing assistance, skills building and more.
CreativeBug: Check out over 100 craft classes and workshops designed just for kids! From STEAM to sewing there's lots of projects to explore. Each workshop gives you an estimate of how long the project will take.
Hoopla: Hoopla contains children's movies, TV shows, music and books. You can edit your Hoopla profile to only display kid friendly titles: under settings turn on "Kids Mode".
Kanopy: A specially curated collection of children's titles on Kanopy including children's movies, TV shows, and storytime classics. You can stream unlimited Kanopy Kids titles.
Ontario ExamBank: Test your understanding by taking online practice tests from grades K-12. Ontario ExamBank can be accessed while in a branch and at home! To get the login information to access from home, contact your local branch or send us an email with your library card number to myaccount@ocl.net.
Libby for Kids: Download children's eBooks and eAudiobooks including picture books, easy readers, chapter books and graphic novels.
TDSRC: The TD Summer Reading Club is free! It offers a variety of fun reading-related activities for children of all ages and keeps them reading all summer long!
Tumblebooks: An online collection of talking children's picture books that help to teach kids the joy of reading.
TVO Kids: Play free educational games and watch educational programming for preschool and school aged kids 2-11 years old.
World Book Online: A comprehensive suite of e-learning resources designed for all ages and abilities with articles, videos, educator tools, eBooks, research guides and more. Log in with your library card number.
Movies & music

IndieFlix: Watch shorts, features, documentaries, classic TV and web series from 85 countries. You have unlimited streaming access.
