Voting is open now until April 30th for this year's Forest of Reading, Canada's largest recreation reading program and an initiative of the Ontario Library Association. Designed to encourage a love of reading, the Forest of Reading celebrates Canadian books, publishers, authors and illustrators. Oxford Local History Day returns on April 20

Oxford Local History Day is a chance to recognize and discover the stories and moments that paved the way for Oxford County as we know it. Join us at the Ingersoll and Tillsonburg branches for engaging presentations from local historians and activities for all ages. Those in attendance will also experience collections, exhibits, and featured stories from archives, museums, and heritage groups around Oxford County.

We are looking for feedback from our rural communities!

Help shape the future of local libraries. We recognize that for our patrons in rural communities, accessing library services presents unique challenges. This may be due to physical distance from a library branch, hours of operation for our rural branches, internet connectivity, or other issues. The Rural Community Engagement Survey is open now until May 1, 2024, for public input on library branch hours, the physical set-up of library spaces, collections, technology offerings, programs and activities, and more.

Have you heard the news? We have added over 60 Arabic and Ukrainian language picture books to our collection. You can find all of these titles on our catalogue and place a hold to pickup at your local branch with your Oxford County Library card. This collection was funded by the Peg Caffyn Estate.
