Oxford County has formalized a partnership with Operation Sharing to maintain emergency overnight shelter services at The Inn, a 55-bed facility at Old St. Paul's Anglican Church in Woodstock. This agreement follows a County-supported expansion at the Dundas Street facility earlier this year and reaffirms a commitment to supporting vulnerable and unhoused populations in Oxford.

Boil water advisory ended for Tillsonburg

Southwestern Public Health has ended the boil water advisory for parts of Tillsonburg.

Residents who live or work in the area east of Broadway to Tillson Avenue and south of North Street East can resume regular water use. After a boil water advisory has ended, Public Health advises residents to:
  • Run cold water faucets for 1 minute before using the water.
  • Flush all garden hoses by running cold water through them for 1 minute.
  • Run water softeners through a regeneration cycle.
