Melted on chips,
you widen my hips.
Oh, how I miss my Gorgonzola.

how i miss you

even though you miss me
you know i miss you too
i will still love you no matter what
even though you moved away
i will still miss you through the day
nearly everything i do
reminds me of you
i know you still care for me
and you know i still care for you

A Clear Dream In My Mind

Very seldomly do I rhyme.
I usually speak whats on my mind.
Even though I do what I do
I still stay true
To myself and others around me,
For I know its love surrounds me.
Peace fulfills my soul
Trusting in God never gets old.
He has blessed me with a talent, a skill.
I use my words to express how i feel,
To kill and destroy my enemies.
Those who are evil and plot against me
Their plans will never succeed
Because Jesus walks with me.
He fights my battle for me
Against my enemies, yet I still plea
Have mercy on those who do wrong to me and my family.
Tough times go and they come
But I still put God in control, He's my number one.
He keeps me safe and gives me love.
As I dream I am comforted by a flock of peaceful white doves
That surround you
As you're dressed in blue.
Immediately I see from a far
I run to where you are
To be graced by you hugs and kisses
What i have longed for and been missing.
Then another image appears and calls my home given name
I know not who she is or from where she came
As she whispers what only i can understand.
I assure her that i will and can
Live to my full potential and be great
To shame my enemies on God's appointed date.
Thank you God for sparing my life everyday
Being by my side when i work and play.
Thank you for the blessings that you have showered upon me
And for the opportunity that you have allowed me to see.

An Angel

An angel
An angel up in heaven
Will never compare
The love that I feel
The feeling I wear
As if I am being saved
I feel blessed
Just like I am reborn
I have passed the test
You have come down and took me away
No hate, no lies, and no more pain
Angel, your love's falling just like rain
An angel up in heaven
Shows no beauty
It will never compare
Only you are the most,
Beutiful to me
All that I can hope
Out love's meant to be
You have come down and made me whole
Our love, our embrace, it's in our souls
Angel, just grab hold and never let go
You lifted me up and now it's up to me
If you let me show you
I will hold you
And love you
And I will always be there for you
Your love saved me
Now it's up to me
An angel
Lifted me up and now it's up to me

Love

Sometimes I feel anger toward the world
Want you to know I'm never angry at you
Know that I'll always be there for you
The sun it rises,
and then it sets
As the night fades away,
the day turns to night
I Realized that we should never fight
Right from the very start,
like the beginning of time
We are friends
Friends from the day that I met you
I want you to know that I'm here for you
Everything that bothers me fades away
When I look in your eyes I live another day
Love

I'll never forget
By: ©jean Nadeau

I remember the good old days
Sunny, summer days
And there was my grandmother in her garden
A sort of happiness floated like wind around her
She was always so happy, shining like sunlight
Never a frown, you would never find one around
Her great laugh can brighten any day
But I never thought of the day she would go away
But I rememeber the good old times
memories, joyful times
And my father would tell me to visit my grandma
I would take my bike and race down like the wind
There she was gardening, her happiest hour
Love so great, it would outlast god's fate
For everyone goes away in the end
But when she passed I so badly wanted to see her again
But I will always remember those great days with my grandma
She was so happy those days, in my memories she stays that way
I never had a chance to say goodbye, so I say it today
Goodbye grandma, love from our family
You will be in our hearts always

Red Roses
By: Kristiopher Izzi
Type: Free Verse
Age Category: Adult
Red roses of remembrance long since forgotten within a sea of dust.
Tears of blood from a clenched fist of fury beating the sound of nothingness.
Woe is the man of the man who breaks the heart of man like a beam of light through coursing rain.
What do I know? Where do I go? What do I show?
Questions...Questions impregnating the soul of my brain.
Tears of fallen stars littering the Earth.
Heaven cries out into an apocalyptic void of sorrow.
Pain driving a steak into the soul of man, breaking the angelic spirit of a time long since past.
Nothingness swells us.
Nothingness compels us.
Wounds infected with salt only now burn a tear into my body.
But scars will burn a red rose into my soul.
What do I know?
A place of where to go.
Where do I go?
Only to show what I need to show.
What do I show?
Only what I know.

Sorry Just Doesn't Cut It

Sorry for the wars,
Sorry there's no peace,
Sorry for the psychos,
And sorry for the beasts.
Sorry for the ozone,
Sorry for the seas,
Sorry for pollution,
And sorry for the trees.
Sorry for the homeless,
Sorry for the meek,
Sorry for the guilty-less,
And sorry for the freaks.
Sorry for the idiots,
Sorry for the jerks,
Sorry for the hurting,
And sorry for those out-of-work.
Sorry to the eagles,
Sorry for all hate,
Sorry for anything illegal,
And I apologize for fate.
Sorry for any horror,
Sorry for the hungry,
Sorry for people poorer,
Than I am presently.
A few of them could apologize,
With out the use of me,
But mostly, saying sorry,
Doesn't seem enough to me.
Instead of being sorry,
And saying its not right,
Why not do something about it,
And be part of the fight.
Cause no matter how many times you say it,
It will not change a thing,
So stop just saying sorry,
And go be inspiring.

The Rifle Range

The Rifle Range
.22?s go pop
Shotguns shoot
shot
You can buy beer
from the lady
that sells the ammo
Stray clay
pigeons fall
like bombs
The Range Officer
offers advice
and cigarettes to shooters
Silhouettes of ducks
partitioned and numbered
to keep the score
are violently perforated
by a veteran
from some war
Onomatopoeia
fills the air
in thick layers
while a father and his son
kill paper rabbits
for fun
They all have kindly smiles
full of crooked teeth
and bits of lunch
They all have glasses
and hats
and grandchildren at home
They all have guns.
It?s like someone snuck middle-America
into the middle of Brisbane.
