A minimum of 6 people must be signed up by registration deadline
or the class will be cancelled. Don’t be disappointed.

Call the office today to sign up!

Please remember to sign in for each program, event or meeting you attend at the Centre.
This is very important for us as it validates our need for funding to various sources.

Ooops!!
We had to cancel it!!

Avoid disappointment in yourself and others. Register early for programs. Programs do not just happen - hours of planning, preparation, meetings, scheduling, coordinating, locating instructors and entertainment are all involved.

Many of the new programs and events are planned because you the Members have suggested them. You are our best source of advertisement - "self-promote our Centre". Tell others of the variety of programs and events....share your newsletter - please spread the word.

Programs are subject to change or cancellation depending
on registration.
Please call the office to confirm date and time if you have
registered or signed up for a program.

Everyone is welcome to our programs - bring along new friends to our climate controlled Centre.

"Computer Tips & Tricks"

Occasionally there comes a time when assistance is required to get your computer "fixed". You will find a phone number for "Tech Support" and you are at a complete loss with the questions being fired upon you other than you know you put the power plug into the wall. You at least know how to turn the computer on and perform the basic keyboard functions otherwise you wouldn't be reading this. To better understand what you're working with and when it comes to the dreaded day of BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) and the call has to be made, at least know a few of the components and their use within the "BOX" (no profanities at this time, please).

All this computer stuff a foreign language to you? Here's a dictionary with all the "geek" words explained for you ;o)) FOLDOC (Free On-Line Dictionary Of Computing)

Five Simple Steps to a Free e-mail Account:

  1. Click here on -  www.msn.ca

  2. Click on the Hotmail link.

  3. Click on the Sign up button.

  4. Follow the prompts to enter information including your desired email address.

  5. Select a user name people will recognize you by and a unique password you will not forget. Write it down in a safe place and remember where you put it

You are now ready to communicate anytime from anywhere.
