Notice to all Members

Due to the fact many newsletters are not being picked up by the deadline. An increased number of newsletters had to be mailed out to members.

This in turn has dramatically increased our advertising cost.

Effective April 1st, 2007

We ask all members to pick up their newsletter by the 10th.

If you choose to have your newsletter mailed out to you, there will be a $10 surcharge added to your annual membership renewal.

Unfortunately we have had to cancel programs due to lack of late enrollment.

As the newsletter is our main source of advertising and promoting programs at the centre, we rely on you, the members to have your newsletters in hand to ensure you meet registration deadlines.

What can you Do?

Be a supportive member.

Offer suggestions for new programs.

Become a member of "our fundraising" committees.

Recruit new members to "fill" our space.

Support building fundraisers.

Centre Closed???

If at any time the centre needs to be closed due to poor weather conditions, an announcement will be made on
CKOT Radio station FM 101.3 prior to 9:00 a.m.
Call ahead for cancellation of classes.

Phone Busy???

If both phone lines are busy leave a message and we will return your call as soon as we can.

Signing In - PLEASE remember to "sign in" for each program / event / meeting you attend at the Centre. The "sign in" book is located at the front of the hall. This is very important for us as it validates our need for funding to various services.

Please sign up in the registration book located at the front reception desk to register for upcoming Programs & Special Events by the posted Deadline Dates. Coffee/Tea Stations - Coffee making instructions have been posted and any member is welcome to make coffee as long as instructions are followed. If the coffee is not for a program check all coffee station areas (activity room, dining room, members lounge) before making a pot. This will help to reduce coffee being thrown out.

One cup of coffee/tea is included in your user fee. Every additional cup will be 50 cents a cup. This includes before, during or after programs. This can be paid into the “coffee jar” at any coffee station.

We thank those few who do pay the additional 50 cents per cup.
