63 Mouse - Problems and Fixes
| If you're using a cordless mouse, your first line of attack is to replace the batteries with new and fresh ones.
A rechargeable mouse will no longer hold its charge for more than a few minutes.
Stop fighting the battle and buy a new mouse, cleaning and trouble shooting mouse problems are no longer necessary when there are deals like the following.

|
110 Outlook Express - Pictures Don't Show in the Emails You Send
The first thing you have to establish is whether the problem is really at your end or at the receivers end.
Create an E-Mail test and Insert a Picture... into the text field.
Send the E-Mail test to yourself.
Left click on the Send/Recv
Open the E-Mail test from your Inbox
Check your ISP webmail
What do you see?
If no picture is seen, repeat the procedure above except, use the Insert a File Attachment... and select any suitable picture for this test.
Send the E-Mail test to yourself.
Left click on the Send/Recv
Open the E-Mail test from your Inbox
Open the File Attachment
Check your ISP webmail
What do you see?
When your E-Mail window opens
|
Do you see the message Some pictures have been blocked etc...
|
|
If the message is from a reliable source AND you have an Anti Virus checker, proceed to left Click here to download pictures.
|
Possibly, your OE security options are blocking images from appearing
Open Outlook Express
Left click on Tools
Select Options
When the Options window opens
Select the Security tab
Set your buttons and boxes as shown here.
Similarly, check your ISP webmail and the security level set for messages
Using just your ISP webmail, create a message to yourself with a picture inserted or attached as a file.
If no picture is seen, your ISP security level is too high
Read your ISP Help and when no answer can be found, call your ISP for assistance.
When the ISP has corrected the problem, retest your OE.
If OE still doesn't perform the way you expect
Record all of your settings under Tools, Options
Record all of your settings under Tools, Accounts
Save your addresses and E-mail
Remove OE and re-install it.
If all appears to be a lost cause, sign up and use another E-Mail provider
Ask Google or any other Search Engine to find "free e-mail providers" (with the quotation marks)
Should any of these tests show you are not at fault
E-mail our web site address to the person(s)
Their setup for E-mail should be as shown at this web site.
Ask the person(s) complaining to do these same tests
Finally, if this just appears to be too much to go through, use it as an excuse to get a new computer. |
