In 1995 when a few citizens felt there was a need for a "meeting place" for friends and neighbours, accommodations were supplied by the good people of the Ingersoll Lion's Club. As more programs and space to fit the rapid growing membership, the facilities at the Lion's Club were being overly stretched.
The need for space was recognized by the town and it's largest manufacturer, Cami, and a building known as Suzuki House was offered to the citizens of Ingersoll.
Since Mr. Suzuki officially passed on the key to the citizens of Ingersoll in 2001, the membership has expanded to over 600 and they participate in over 40 programs ranging from Belly Dancing to World Current Affairs.
We are a non-profit, charitable organization enriching the lives of our community seniors.
