The Extrajudicial Sanctions Program receives referrals from the Crown Attorney or probation.  Eligible youth are assigned a case manager from COJ, where an agreement is made as to how the youth will take responsibility for his/her actions.  Youth return to court when the sanctions are completed in order to have their charges withdrawn.

If the youth has not complied with the agreement, the case will be referred back to court.
