The CSO program is a community-based sentencing option that permits the court to order offenders volunteer hours to be performed in the community. After an in-depth assessment in our office, clients are assigned to complete hours at a non-profit organization.

What is Involved?

• Court orders a specific number of hours to be completed per week or per month
• Can be part of probation order or a stand alone order
• A work placement is arranged with our community partners

Offender can be charged with breach of order if not completed as ordered
