I am descended from James Morgan b.1821 and Eliza Dayton. They were both born and raised in the Brant/Burford area. I have not been able to determine who James' parents were. According to the 1891 census they were both born in the United States but as James was born in Ontario they likely settled in the Brant area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to find any Robins relatives probably in the Ingersoll area. My grandfather's brother Joseph A Robins, born 1882, emigrated from England to Canada and settled in Ontario.

There is a Joseph A Robins recorded in Ingersoll, born 1882 and died 1956. Is this the same one?

In addition I believe his son was James (Jim) Robins and at one time mayor of Ingersoll. He married Jesse and they had three children I believe.

There is also another possible son of Joseph, Macdonald Robins born 1916. As my grandfather had a brother named Macdonald, it is conceivable that he also had a nephew by the same name.

Any information is much appreciated, however small, or if there is family that wish to get in touch, please contact me.

Kind regards, Andy (nr Oxford, England)
