What a wonderful site! I was able to find and confirm some facts, using the information you are able to provide. I was born and raised in Ingersoll and have lived in Thorndale since my marriage many years ago. I have been reserching family trees for Longfield, Irwin, Steele, and Pickering on my side as well as my husband's Tipping and Jones branches. I am looking for information on the Gravill Family. They arrived in Norwich around 1914 from Norwich England. They arrived on the SS Empress of Ireland. They being Richard Thomas GRAVILL and his wife Alice HUNSLEY. Their children were Clara, William, Olive, Alice, Arthur and Thomas.
