I am 80 yrs old, and the daughter of the late Harold Palmer. My Grandmother Jenny Knox was the wife of Albert Palmer of Eden. If there are any Family and/or Friends out there that can give me information on Albert or Jenny, I would appreciate it. My son Sonni is putting together our Family tree. The last time we saw Grandma Jenny was at her 100th birthday at the wee little cabin on Otter Creek in Eden in 1958. Thanks for the great website. Keep up the good work.

Both sides of my family were in Oxford Co. at one time or another and include CORNELL, STROUD, SUTHERLAND, TAYLOR, DEAN, SMART, TANNER and LAW. Connected families include KARN, BOWMAN, BULLOCK, THOMPSON and ADAMS. Inquiries are welcome on any of these families.

I am just starting to gather info on my family and this site looks like it will provide me with lots of info to start.
My great-grandparents were John Carroll and Mary Devereux. I believe that they had either 4 or 5 children, Bridget, James (my grandfather), Denis, Thomas (who moved to the USA) and, possibly, William. I also know that they were related in some way to the LaFlamme family.
My grandfather, James Carroll worked as a Trainman with the Grand Trunk Railway and joined the CPR and moved to Red Deer, AB in 1904.
