Calling All Cooks

Calling all enthusiastic cooks: check out http://www.allrecipes.com. This site offers a vast array of recipes across categories such as baked goods, seasonal recipes, and even special diets.
The site allows you to browse through the recipes by category, or alphabetically, so if you are looking for something to catch your eye for that special event next week, browsing may be the method for you.
If you are looking for a specific recipe however, simply type a key word from your recipe into the search box and let allrecipes.com find you that tantalizing treat you have been craving.
You can also try the recipe exchange option. If you have a recipe you would love to share with others, you can simply add it to the list on Allrecipes.com. If you can not find that one particular recipe for those chocolate coconut cookies your grandmother used to make anywhere on the site, you can fill out a 'recipe request' form, in hopes that someone out there will have the information for you.
If you are looking for general helpful hints, then allrecipes.com has some for you too. Never been able to make the perfect piecrust? Help is here. Or you can brush up on your pasta definitions, find plenty of tips for the barbecue, and learn how to incorporate more nutritious foods into your diet.
You can start your own personal electronic recipe on the site too. Just click on 'Start Your Own Recipe Box' on the home page, and fill out the necessary information. Then when you are looking through recipes on the site, you can save the most tantalizing. If you would rather have a hard copy of a recipe, simply choose what size of recipe card you'd like it to be printed on, and it will be ready for your own recipe box.
Allrecipies.com is extremely easy to use and full of fun tips and new recipes. It is a must see for food-lovers and cooks alike.
