Do you ever find yourself tangled in the World Wide Web? Looking for a place to stumble into and find something fun to do? Point yourself in the direction of Bored.com (http://www.bored.com).
Bored.com is site of links that will occupy you for hours, if not days. Try, for example, these sites, all found through Bored.com.
Have you ever wondered where all those forwards clogging your inbox come from? I have found the source! At http://www.forwardgarden.com you will find just about every forward you've ever received from anyone, as well as many, many others. There are over two thousand different jokes, stories and lists that have made their way around the net.
At http://www.soyouwanna.com you can get your handwriting analyzed. All you have to do is copy the provided sentence and then follow the simple directions. Soyouwanna.com is also the place to go to learn everything your teachers forgot to tell you. You can find out about weaseling out of traffic tickets, or talking to the dead.
You can learn all about the news of the weird at http://www.newsofthewierd.com. News of the Weird is a daily newspaper column, running all over the continent. At http://www.jumptheshark.com you can vote on when you think your favourite show jumped. "Jumping the shark" is when a good show turns bad. It is derived from that Happy Days episode where Fonzie actually jumped over a shark. Many shows are listed, and if yours isn't, you can submit it for consideration.
At http://www.kissthisguy.com you can find the largest listing of bungled lyrics on the web. Starting with the most common 'kiss this guy' being heard as 'kiss the sky', many songs have been submitted by listeners. You can now browse through the listings and have a good laugh.
At http://www.hampsterdance2.com you will find yourself amused for hours. Watch the little guys dance, and listen to the song. Good luck getting that one out of your head later.
With all these options available to you on Bored.com, you should never have another one of those "Hmm…where should I surf to next?" moments.
