Formerly the Lost in Cyberspace Articles
The "Lost in Cyberspace" articles began appearing in the Saturday issue of The Oxford Review in the summer of 1999 as a Community Access Program initiative developed by the Oxford County Library. Because there is so much to investigate on the Internet, it is sometimes difficult to know where to start. The goal of the "Lost in Cyberspace" columns was to introduce the residents Oxford County to some of the web sites that CAP Youth and Library staff have found useful, interesting, and fun.
On March 3, 2001, Oxford County Library was awarded the first ever CAPPER Award for creative community partnerships for the Lost in Cyberspace articles.
NOTE: The "Lost in Cyberspace" articles underwent a change of name and, on September 17th, 2001 were christened "WebChat" articles.
