Old
Jail Governor's Residence
This house
(1854) was built for the Governor of the County Gaol.
It was originally a part of the jail complex and was
partly encompassed by the high jail walls.
Over
time, offices for Social Services and the Canadian Cancer
Society have been located here, as well as the Assessment
Office. The building is currently used by the Oxford
County Custodial Staff.
