Adult Summer Reading BINGO Challenge

Take the challenge and you could win a prize...

New this year, the Oxford County Library is offering a summer reading BINGO challenge for adults and teens. Visit any one of OCL's 14 branch library locations and pick up your very own BINGO card.

To coincide with Canada's 150 celebrations, this reading challenge has a Canadian twist. Complete the challenges on the card by reading a book by a Canadian author, about a Canadian topic, place, or person, and tell us about it on your next visit to the Library. When you tell us about the book you read, we will stamp your card. Just like with the real BINGO game, the centre square is a free space. Complete a line and earn a ballot for the prize draw. Complete the entire card and earn ten ballots for the prize draw!

Visit our interactive BINGO card online at www.ocl.net/CAN150ATOCL/BINGO to find reading suggestions. For some of the squares, you’ll need to browse the Library’s collections either in-person or online to find a suitable title.

In order to be eligible for the prize:

  1. Participants must be Oxford County Library cardholders, in possession of an adult card (13 years and up).
  2. The same title cannot be used for more than one BINGO square.

This reading challenge starts June 21, 2017 and runs until September 21, 2017. The prize draw will be held at the end of September where two names will be drawn. Each of the two winners will receive a Canada 150 vintage cooler box (valued at $70) along with some great Canada 150 swag.
